Kirkcudbright Bay

Today's the day ………………….. for an evening stroll

This is a view looking northwest from the path along the shore of the Dee Estuary - towards Kirkcudbright and on to the Galloway Hills.  The tide was on its way in and the bay was slowly filling up with water. 

It was such a lovely evening and good to be strolling in the sunshine.  There was a carpet of flowers under the trees including bluebells, wild garlic, primroses, celandines - and red campion as in the extra. 

And, of course, we had it all to ourselves ……………………..
