Not Too Shabby

We stayed here last year and it has to rate as one of my favourite hotels - it's certainly the most welcoming and friendly I've stayed in.

Highlights today:
- going on a levada walk with mum (dad staying by the pool)
- soaking up more sunshine (turns out this was the hottest Jan week they've seen for years :-)
- free fizz, wine and canapes at a "do" for returning guests. Today's lesson: don't get between a wealthy pensioner and a free glass of fizz....!
- squid, spinach and squid ink risotto at a local restaurant :-)
