Marking the vines

Sometimes the viticulteurs use cut stems of bamboo from the edges of the vineyards to mark the vines, indicating different varieties, I think, and in other places like here pieces of red and white plastic blow in the light. And there was a lot of light this morning. It felt like spring and there were almond trees in blossom in the distance across the vineyards, although annoyingly not close enough for me to photograph properly! Stopping here on the way back from chores in Magalas, Lo Jardinièr photographed spring flowers while I tried to catch the light. When we got back in the car it was 20°C and since returning to my desk I've had the window wide open!
