Tuesday 5 February 2013: Lobster and Chips
Today it was swimming after work. Managed my kilometre without too much of a problem, didn't feel too bad considering that I've not been in the pool for a while because of the thermal imaging eating my evenings up.
Today's blip is another broken gadget macro. It's a USB card reader device. I bought it to read my SD cards from my cameras and I had several and they all died a death. In the end the supplier got fed up with sending new ones and just issued a refund. The chip with the lobster logo on is a Realtek RTS5158 and is apparently quite common for what it's used for judging by the number of hits on Google I found.
