Our home for the next 3 days.

Had to get up early, pack car and do last minute things....one of sad ones was saying goodbye to our lovely wwoofer, Karen.....she headed off to another farm not too far from us, so i'm pretty sure we'll see her when we get home.

the trip here to PEI was pretty nice. Easy and direct, the ferry crossing was great and then we only had about 15 minutes to our beautiful farm house. This place is fabulous, it's an old farmhouse that has been very nicely looked after, bright and open and lots of space...inside and outside!!! there is a lovely path down to the edge of the cliffs where the ocean is!!! we spent a bit of time settling in and then headed off to explore the places close by. found the grocery store and the liquor stores and then a bit of a walk along the water front. Found a very delightful place to eat and we were served by this lovely young chap, who happens to be heading to Cape Breton next month to try out for our hockey team, he was so friendly.

finished the evening with a bit of netflix and then off to bed!
