Proboscis

I don't usually take photos of bees front on - they don't make particularly attractive images. But today I was attempting to get images showing their proboscis (tongue) for a fellow teacher who wants to use them on her 'nature table'. I did get images that show a lot more of the proboscis and I will give them to her, but... I like this one better.
