Louisburg

After breakfast at a local cafe, we got to relax back at the hotel till around 12.30....then off for the afternoon.   It was pretty miserable weather, high winds and heavy rain, but we wanted to head out to the coast, cos Terry really wanted to find some big waves!  We meandered around little fishing villages, and had lunch on a little beach, inside the car of course and then a bit of a walk.

Terry is always up for exploring unknown territory .... see extra!   This is what was referred to as the 'beach road' ..... so he had to drive down it!!!  Making a u turn was rather scary!    but we made it, and he so enjoys seeing the look of fear in my eyes :)

Then on to Louisburg, where we did find some big waves and wild winds!

Julie was at home with lots of wonderful food ready for us to have dinner.   She is an absolute gem!

It was exactly what we needed, and now it's back to work!
