Japonica Orientalis

Well, without looking it up in a reference book, I think this is the correct name but please correct me if I'm wrong.
I used to drop Ellie off at school in the mornings and walk around the cathedral close which was lovely. She went on to senior school last September and I really miss the walk, so this morning I walked down the hill into Salisbury and then around the Close once again. There is always something different to see and though I was looking for snowdrops to blip, the japonica was lovlier. I then strolled around the cathedral which I'd not done for a long time and then sat for a while listening to the organist practising. A good start to the week :)
