Shade tail's shadow

Spot, our little black squirrel visitor - so named for the small white spot behind his left ear, came by for some sunshine and breakfast.

FYI: squirrels = scuridae = shade tail.

Sadly, the Holley Fire Department of New York State, thinks squirrels should be destroyed on masse - essentially, teach kids to disrespect life and nature and waste animals. It is breeding time so lots of dead and wounded parent squirrels leaving orphaned babies to starve and freeze to death. Time to complain to NY State tourism and tell them why I'll be spending my money in other states when I visit the USA.
