Princes Street lamp standard, Edinburgh

This is at the Museum of Edinburgh, on the Canongate section of the Royal Mile. Although I've taken other photographs today, I'm adding this one to blipfoto so that every time I see some mention of our principal shopping street, I can refer folks here to find out how to spell it!
