Watching Out For Mum

This thrush fledgling was resting in the grass waiting for a parent to bring more food.

A strange day weatherwise. Most of the day was unpleasantly cool, with a nor’wester that didn’t clear a light dusting of snow as one would expect. Then late afternoon the sun came out and the wind warmed up and suddenly it was hot.
