Sunday 5 April 2009: It has more bells and whistles....

.....than a Peruvian marching band, and it's also one of the reasons I came to photography rather late in life. It took the advent of digital (for which read 'immediate', the facility to hit the delete button on all those 'thumb over the lens, just decapitated my best friend' shots and no queueing in Boots or waiting for the postman) photography to persuade me that, yes, maybe I COULD take a passable holiday snap after all. But you've just gotta love that retro styling! If I ever work out what all those dials do I might even buy me a roll of film and take it out for a spin one day!
