Radiating Stripes

Grey and defocused, and yet I quite like the tonality. One day follows the last, with little prospect of the next being very different. This virus is an exercise in resilience, institutionalising home life and making dreams of an outside world that must still exist, somewhere...

We are now a tier three outpost, providing counterpoint to the viral southeast and the viral north. The tier three above us and below us have done their thing and dropped down to two, but hey we do great rave parties... I don't know if it was the Yate disco super-spreader or perhaps the capacity of Southmead Hospital which serves South Gloucestershire, but we are where we are...

To be more positive though, we're healthy and homed and have plenty to eat and drink. We have failed in our attempt to stockpile for Brexit, alas, and alcohol and crisps are dwindling fast. We are a county now though where UNICEF feeds our starving children. I didn't ought to feel gloomy eh. Just embittered.
