Eagle Rock

Walk to Eagle Rock & back, non stop rain & chilly breeze coming off the incoming tide of the Forth.

It was pretty quiet as weather was shite but not easy at all to get peace on a nice day.

Too cold to stand for long on the stony sand, been a high tide a couple of days another tonight taking the water & floatsom into the trees.

Eagle Rock carving may be from the Romans who had settled at Cramond, this is part of Dalmeny Estate.

Eagle Rock, in the distance is misty Barnbougle Castle & part of Hound Point Terminal, looks like there is a tanker there.

Mono as there wasn't much colour anyway with poor soaking light.

One of those days boots need newspapers & tissues in pockets turned to mush, no good for runny noses.
