Flowering Currant

Flowers and blossom are appearing all around us in this spell of warm, sunny weather. Spoilt for choice today ..... yellow daffodils, purple crocuses, white blossom or pink flowering currant. I opted for the flowering currant for two reasons .... the lovely perfume and no bending or stooping needed to take my photo.

The park was busy but that was to be expected on such a beautiful morning ..... what a bonus for the new born calf so new that it doesn't even have its ear tag yet.
