Coco Bahia

One of the great things about Zihuatanejo is the number of restaurants. When we first moved here, someone told us there are over 600 in our town of 100,000 (quick math, one restaurant for every 150 or so people). We are constantly discovering new place to eat, getting recommendations from friends, and being invited to new places. Tonight our friends from the complex invited us to dine with them at a small (two tables and a 10 seat bar) place on the other side of the bay. What incredible food from such a tiny restaurant! We had small plates of tuna, mushrooms, spinach, and a host of other tasty items. Accompanied by really cold cervesa and finished off with a shot of very good tequila, it is definitely a place to remember and recommend to others.
