Desktop RIP

Predictably the weather has taken a turn for the worse when I have some leave to take. Had to take a trip to the recycling centre today to get rid of some bits and pieces including an old desktop PC that we don't now use. Cue various discussions about how to make the old machine safe and data free ( not that there's anything confidential on it in the first place) - at the end of the day taking out and retaining the hard drive seemed the safest bet - thus the blip.
Am I the only man who likes a trip to the dump ? Always busy (even on a wet and cold Thursday) and amazing the stuff folk are getting rid of / recycling.
