Bennachie

Tramped up this wee hill today. Not too many folk about : hardly surprising given the arctic weather at the top and total lack of any view. It's an interesting hill with an old Neolithic fort on the top and also evidence of an old granite mine.
This is the trig point at the top - these are still much in evidence on many hills and must have been some undertaking to put on top of some of our more remote corners of Scotland.
