Gleann nam Fiadh

After yesterdays exertions we got up to reasonable weather. Unfortunately a mate had borrowed my bike the day before and the chain snapped. What should have been a five minute job to repair ended up a monster faff when the chain tool on my Topeak Alien II multitool failed, luckily there were some pliers and a hammer in the cottage workshop and we got it "fixed", still the ride out was done gingerly. Needless to say the offending part has been sent back to Topeak, bloody disgrace failing like that.

Gordon and I finally got back to the car park about eleven, drove a mile or so up the road and headed up to do Tom a'Choinnich and Toll Creagach. Whilst not getting great views from the top, there was some great views and the odd burst of nice light during the day.

Was a long, dark drive home pitched up in Larbert about half ten. Showered and collapsed, never even managed the beer I promised myself.
