Moore Walk

Bitter, bleak with a biting wind we walked round the Yorkshire Sculpture Park this morning. Having travelled up the motorway to Yorkshire for Mother's Day we decided to stop and walk the dogs and stretch our legs before lunch.

This is a Henry Moore group: Upright Motive No 7, No 1 Glenkiln Cross and Upright Motive No. 2 all 1955-56. No prizes for spotting Tilly and Poppy!

I had booked the table for today by phone but when we rocked up they had no record of our booking and had been fully booked for 3 months for this Sunday. My bacon was saved by the restaurant manager who very kindly fitted us in in due course. Not the best start to my treat for Mum but it all worked out in the end thank goodness!
