Sea View

Jamie's window bed at Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth, has a great view, one which had me thinking of Fawlty Towers.   Perhaps my fav episode, with the cantankerous Mrs Richards and her hearing aid.    
"I asked for a room with a sea view"
"Erm.  Yeeees.  There it is, over there, between the land and the sky." 

Jamie eventually had his op this morning and by the time I got there around lunchtime, he was back on the ward and reasonably comfortable thanks to the pain relief.   He's managed to get off the bed once and wheel himself to the bathroom.  The first hurdle crossed.   He's tired of course and will need a bit more time in the nurses care but the worst is over .... and he's looking forward to fish and chips again :-)
