Heart of Thorns

After the sharp frosts there are few little creatures or flowers in the garden. This soap aloe was safely in the greenhouse, though even in there plants have been damaged.

This Aloe has lovely flowers, but I have not had a flower from them in the thirty-odd years I’ve been growing them.

I’m not feeling great today. Too much moon chasing in subzero air over the last three nights, I suspect. But how could I miss those wonderful sights that are so rare?
