Hover fly

I spent most of today in the garden relaxing with my book and coffee and recharging the batteries. I was joined by lots of little inhabitants of our garden …..these were the best shots I got. I’m currently working on trying to record the species we encounter ….up to 160  so far ( which includes the 110 species of moth we’ve recorded in the last 5 years). Hoverflies and bees are my target species to start to learn to ID this year :)
