The Woodland Garden (Monday 21st June 2021)

One welcome invasion in the Woodland Garden's Front Yard is this green alkanet (Pentaglottis sempervirens), also known as evergreen bugloss. I took this using the 24mm prime lens at its closest focus.

Blondie - Call Me (Theme From American Gigolo) (recorded August 1979, New York NY, overdubs in Los Angeles CA)
This is the 12" version, included on a CD re-issue of their album AutoAmerican, recently acquired and played on this day. Originally recorded by the band in New York, producer Giorgio Moroder later added new backing in Los Angeles arranged by Harold Faltermayer, who played the keyboards, leaving only the band's vocals, featuring Debbie Harry of course.
