Delicate folds......

and a golden glow, sprinkled with  little raindrops tucked away in the depths of my rosebush, sheltered and protected is Scentasia. She's pretty with a lovely delicate fragrance, free flowering and excellent for cut flowers.

Well the long awaited rain came. I stood outside round 9pm last night watching it fall, fine and steady straight from above. My maple was glistening under the light with vibrant greens and ambers as tiny droplets formed at the tips of the leaves and there they stayed until a little breeze would whirl through and shake them to the ground. Today the garden has freshened up, some tiny flowers are sodden with water while others are nodding in the wind. The rain has continued on and off, gentle, throughout the day, its been a cooler 15C quite different to what we've been used to. According to the local airfield we've had 16.2mm of rain since midnight, it won't stop the drought but every little bit helps.

Better fly and organise some tea, its day one of my healthy eating and exercise program, herbed bbq steak with capsicum, red onion and tomatoes gently sauté in red wine vinegar with thyme and oregano, served with a salad - no potato for me tonight.

Happy Monday :)
