St Briget's Well, Liscannor

A place of incredible potency - womblike, tomblike, packed full of hopes and fears; photos, rosaries, statues, crutches, messages. So cold your breath floated in front of you, the only sound the dripping of the water into the well, lit only by flickering candle . Revered for hundreds of years and obviously still much needed today. I had to visit several times.
