Tiny beads
glisten in the light
as delicate silken petals
unfurl towards the sun.

Another lovely autumn day, warm in the sun with a gentle breeze and a cloudless sky above. Mornings are a lot cooler - round 3C and the days are drawing in, two more weeks before our daylight saving ends, when autumn will be in full swing.

Went to the gym this morning and had a break from the house jobs this afternoon with a walk, enjoying the fine days while they're still with us. This little osteospermum caught my eye in the morning light, standing alone tall and proud.
