Monopoly with an Edge...

Monopoly basically is Monopoly. You can tart it up in in different themes, custom editions (noticed how little you see the original red and white version lately?) and special moulded character pieces but it's the same game.

We augmented it tonight to give it a bit of an unexpected edge. The unexpected was in that we did a bit of WWF Earth hour tonight with the kids turning all the 'leccy off in the house. We decided to pass the time with a nice game of the aforementioned board game. Our preferred source of light was candles, so I think you can probably see where this is going.

Not that far, no incidents, but the combustible construction of the game and the gravitas toward leaning over things whilst playing does give an extra layer of thought process to playing the game.
