sunrise shadows

With autumn here, the sun is rising later and as a result, Astro is stirring later (aka sleep in for me!) and this morning the weekend 'long walk' was also long shadowed and still quite dark in the forest.

The bird life takes on a longer doze too and by the time we arrive and the sunlight is touching some foliage, the galahs, kookaburras, cockies and various parrots have cranked up the birdsong and are madly flying around.
