The humble eucalyptus, of which there are a myriad varieties, spans the whole range of trunk textures.
From crusty, red sap dribbling barks to 'naked', smooth, pinkish skins and everything in between.
These two grow side by side in the bush (sadly diminishing I'm sad to say as the owners have got the 'loppers' in') at the end of our street.
