The catch of the day

Today was a nice relaxing walk in the park. I was not sure what I was going to blip until I came across the Great Blue Heron eating his lunch. This is the first time I have seen this bird on the small lake here. I was able to watch how he played with the fish on the ice then ate it in one bite. This was quite amazing to watch. The fish looks to be a cat fish that would he been taken from an open stream nearby as you can see this lake is still frozen over. Too bad I can only publish picture what I took today.
