Mono Monday - portrait of a seagull

With it being Mono Monday and a portrait challenge I choose this poor seagull waiting on the lake, waiting for spring , waiting for warmth waiting for the ice to melt. The wait might finally be over by the end of the week as spring like temps will finally be coming.

Today I found out I will have to go back out on the road for several service calls over the next few weeks to help out. I have not been out much over the past few years and will find it interesting .i also managed to extend my long weekend by one more day for a total of 4.
