Glasgow
I walked through a short section of Glasgow city centre today. Nothing odd in that perhaps, but it's the first time I've done that since March 2020. Now that is odd because before then I walked through here regularly as I went from one train station to the other on my way to visit my mum. Today was the first time in over a year that I travelled to my mum's by train, hence I was in the city centre. It was oddly emotional. Although I live in Edinburgh, I grew up in Glasgow and it always feels like home. It was good to be back.
It was also good to see my mum today. I'm spending the weekend with her, and family are coming over tomorrow. I think it will be a good weekend.
