River of Flowers

Cavollo Nero

This is the last of the Cavollo Nero, I managed to collect a handful this morning to add to my veggie soup - it has been growing since last Spring and has provided a good amount of leaves throughout the Autumn and Winter! One or two plants are almost in flower so they will stay in the garden and provide early nectar for the pollinators.

I've had a day of pottering, transplanted some sorrel seedlings and some lettuce, also picked some early shallots for our fried rice this evening! Spent some time experimenting with different jewellery making techniques, may blip some of them tomorrow! Also printed out some labels for seeds which I will be sharing over the next few weeks.

Hope the long weekend is going well for everyone! X
