Lambing

Today was another early up and out to meet up with some family to see some lambs with the little ones. The lambs were lovely and the little ones loved seeing them. Sadly none of the expectants go moving so we did not see any action.

It is strange to see the excitment on the faces of the little ones for something that I took for granted growing up. I forget how lucky I was to grow up with sheep in the back garden and would often witness the emergence of a new lamb into the world and the miricle of it getting to its feet within minutes and wriggling its little tail.

Saying that I think the little ones forget how lucky they are to live in a city with everything on the doorstep including a beach. Either way it was good to get the townies out in the sticks for a bit.
