PURURI MOTH

This is a Pururi Moth of the Wagstaff variety. I've done some restoration work on her and put her in for the first time today. I was one of three to represent the OBBC ( old buggars Boat Club ) with this newly restored Pururi Moth. ( of the Wagstaff variety ) thanks to Wes for being the OBBC rescue boat ( with his outboard - not sailing today !) and to Hugh for being a latter test pilot and technical advisor. The boat was originally built in about the late 1970's so I guess she is a little classic.

She leaked a bit round the venturi but the tanks were as dry as a bone.
this pic is Commadore Hugh having had a test and technical. I have to name her yet and wondered because of the colour of the trim 'Claret' - she might be called 'CLARET' or is that too obvious.
