First Primrose

Checking up on the pond, we discovered that it is no more, it has dried up again; there were no frogs but a little frogspawn which looked viable so we brought some for our Better Makeshift Tadpools, which are still in situ with plenty of weed.

Close by, on the shady bank, the primroses are just starting to flower.
