Through the rectangular window

A morning in school catching up on coursework with Year 11.

They were a joy.

Relaxed after their Easter holiday and fully aware that the exams and the end of school approach.

We have no sixth form so just as we get to know them as young adults they bugger off to other institutions!

A cycle back home in the sunshine and then to drop off a barrel load of books at the Amnesty bookshop with Son #1.

We left the book shop with another bag of books so we didn't totally succeed in downsizing our book collection. Life laundry can wait.

Anyway the boys are now reclined on the sofa reading their books. Son #1 is complaining that Son #2 is, to quote, 'kicking him in the balls and/or the peanuts!'.

Anyway, here's one of the kitchen windows. I like a good, traditional sash window and the craftsmanship that must go into building them. This, I suspect, is original, so is 107 years old. Of course, I could be wrong.

Home cooked fish and chips for tea. Yum, hopefully!
