Champions

Today Chester won the league title and three years, and three consecutive promotions, after the club was reformed we have made our way back to the football conference.

With four league games remaining we have amassed 103 points and 100 league goals putting us beyond all the other teams in the league. We are also the best team in the world! Having been undefeated in the last 30 games. Today's opposition, Boston United, were the last team to beat us. We beat them 1-0 today and when news filtered through that Guiseley, the only other team who could mathematically win the league, if the won all their remaining games, were losing 1-0 to third place Brackley the excitement inside the ground grew and grew. It is a measure of how well this team has done as most seasons Guiseley would have won the league with their points total.

We will be presented with the trophy at our final home game of the season. What a party that will be.

Today Beth Tweddle was at the game and presented the Junior Kickers with their medals when they completed a sponsored walk around the pitch at half time.
