One summer evening.....

After what felt like a busy day it was nice to head down to Tahuna Beach in the evening just to enjoy the atmosphere........the warm mid-summer evening was enough to entice plenty of people in to the water for a paddle or a swim to cool off. 

Tonga is still cut off from the rest of the world though a few satellite phone images have made their way out.  It looks bad.  Thankfully though relief missions will be under way once surveillance flights have helped to determine the extent of the damage and therefore what may be the most urgent needs.  

In COVID news, there were 16 new community cases today; there are 30 people in hospital and 2 in ICU.  Vaccinations have begun for 5-11 year olds......
