This Is How You Do It

This is Ben Mann, a very popular local artist, at work in his studio. You can see his art in many Bellingham locations -- indoors and outdoors. Cynthia and I have both blipped his whimsical, colorful paintings several times before.

I'd never met Ben until today, so I was very pleased to be able to talk to him and see him painting at an artist's open studio event in Fairhaven. It was fascinating to watch -- he made it look so easy, and he didn't appear to have any difficulty painting while carrying on a conversation.
