Sunrise

I stayed over at Katy's last night as she's been on call all weekend. I was up early to take the girls to school which is how I came to see the sunrise - those who know me know I do not normally see sunrises!
Eilidh was impressed, Isobel less so!
I came home and snoozed over a coffee and croissant.
We popped out to Costco at lunchtime to check out their party food for next weekend. We are hoping to have a family get together and that may be the simplest option.
I dozed much of the afternoon in the hope of fending off a migraine, it seemed to work.
We watched Mastermind - one specialist subject was George Cluny's character in ER!
I've never seen ER! Some of the Mastermind topics these days do seem very narrow.
University Challenge was next up and we were quite pleased with our performance. The Birmingham captain had been criticised in each of the previous rounds for his lack of interaction with the female member of his team, things were not noticeably better this time. I had noticed it in previous rounds too, although his fellow students were all very supportive of him when the reports emerged.
That's a wild wind out there again tonight. I wonder where my food bin will end up this time!
