Incubating

I thought I'd drop in to Benbow Pond this afternoon to see how the black swan cygnet was getting on (it's huge and hardly discernible from the adults now). Imagine my surprise when I saw that there was now a nest with a swan on it and, presumably, eggs within. Fingers crossed it all works out...I will be keeping an eye on proceedings. In Extras is one of the other adults being a bit more energetic.
