Golden Moments

.... just happen down at the seafront.

Out walking Bella with Jamie and Katie this afternoon.  The north wind was decidedly bracing, we were glad to turn around and walk with it at our backs!   The sun broke through for a moment now and then.

Earlier I had spent an hour at the allotment, starting the necessary digging and weeding.  It's lovely soil but there's lot's of it and the presence of bindweed in places so it'll take a few more visits to cover the ground.   No big plans, potatoes, onions, squashes.   Looking at other plots brassicas do well so I'll try a few options there too.

Ruth and I continue to work our way through the process of buying a property.  It's more complicated as it's a Personal Injury trust that is paying for it.  The trustees get named in place of Ruth on legal documents meaning she can't describe herself as a home owner .... but neither is she a tenant in the traditional sense.   Service charges, benefit claims, utilities, all need to be contacted and asked how they want the forms filled in.   It all takes time.
