The morning after the night before

The night before was storm Dudley. So I went up to the allotment to check for damage. My plot was fine, but another shed had the door blown off and one of the chicken runs had a cover ripped in the wind. It did give me the chance to walk the site and check out other plots. I love the collection of bird feeders here.

I also planted out the garlic that I had started in the cold frame with the bonus of some shallots. All firmly under an insect mesh frame to try to beat the dreaded allium leaf miner this year.
