Take-off or Landing?

I took quite a lot of pictures today - mainly birds.

Haven't had time to sort through them yet but as they were loading this one caught my eye due to the unusual flying position.

Alligators again came into my life. I was stalking a Heron to get a good picture of it when I guy started waving at me. He then shouted don't think you should go any further down that bank, there is a 10 foot Gator sunning himself at the bottom. I took his advice!
