Clear Evening View

When I came back home on Monday they were painting the house in the distance. I like the new color. It's a light gray. Also, the pomegranate tree is starting to look really lush. Amazing how fast it grows.

In the news today, Roger Ebert passed away. These last few years, I've gotten interested in writing. He was a brilliant man. In his later years his body heavily deteriorated, but his mind was as sharp as ever. Truly an inspiration. In an earlier entry I wrote about his Catholic faith. He wrote another entry on his site about his Catholic upbringing. If it's one thing I take away from this entry, it's that it is important to question your faith. A faith that is understood makes for a better self.

Rest in peace Mr. Ebert. May Jesus remember you when you enter His kingdom.
