At Ruardean: Top tomatoes!

Lodge Farm Kitchen holds some wonderful still life pictures. These beautiful tomatoes caught my eye in their packaging. The farmer clearly knows that his tomatoes market them selves best. No bright packaging required. The smell, so earthy and sweet and I am sure tastes like it should....you know, if you have ever had tomatoes like this on a summers day, drizzled with balsamic and fresh basil! ...

Aside from my dreaming of summer evenings, these italian tomatoes are destined to be the dressing on the Louisa's Deliciously Cheesy Macaroni Cheese. No doubt, on monday, you will see the finished masterpiece. But for now, you can dream like I do, about tomatoes and summer evenings. Oh and how great these ingredients taste in Louisa's ready meals! x

ps: thanks to Andrew, for some snap seeding on this pic...Its nice mix some skills together sometimes! x
