My first visit to the market

It's hard to imagine that the beautiful spring afternoon seen here began this morning with chilly temps, and dark clouds dropping big, plump silver dollar-sized snowflakes all over town with certain neighborhoods getting more than their fair share.

Today was the second weekend of the Bellingham Farmer's Market, and my first visit for this season. There was a slight chill in the air, but it felt so good to be outdoors with the sun in your face, enjoying the fresh produce, the hoola hoops, the unique crafts, the musical entertainment, and most importantly - a fresh-made chocolate croissant from Mt. Bakery.

Hopefully, this morning's snow is our final weather anomaly and we'll soon be donning our shorts and flip flops.

What's that he's playing?
