Into the Deep Blue

Took coffee down by the harbour today after our usual sojourn to the Farmers Market and supermarket. We sat outside, it being a perfect autumn day, and enjoyed a fishing display by a fleet of shags.
There were several fisher folk trying their hand around the basin and as the shags followed a shoal of fish around one became caught up on a fish hook dangling in the water.
Luckily for the shag the men were prompt in catching and releasing the bird and off it went with its confidence hanging out to dry but able to fish again.
I would have thought a thinking fisher person would have bought his lines in on seeing shags fishing on an obvious shoal!!
